This blog is about my healing. Plain and simple. My hope is to allow anyone in a similar situation to realize that they don't have to be stuck. If you feel a need to go deeper into your faith, by all means, find a church that will help you do that. Only you know what your needs are, don't let a pastor tell you what you should need or make you feel guilt or shame for needing anything. The Crossing Church has left me feeling battered and bruised in a back alley, their back alley.

Did you send the money to Haiti like you mentioned in your first post? I remember you saying that the children in Haiti needed more help and you wish you would've sent your Samurai money there instead.
ReplyDeleteI know it's between you and God, so don't feel like you need to answer. I was just curious if you wanted to comment.
I have sent additional money to Haiti. I also donated to FMSC, not just my time, but financial support too.
ReplyDeleteRight on, sister.

are all great ministries worthy of our resources. Still trying to make sure I put more into helping people see their need for a savior and then meeting Jesus than anything else, as honorable as it may be to fill an empty stomache or rescue someone out of human trafficking.
As a trained domestic and sexual abuse advocate, I am familiar with Love146 and A21 Campaign. Add to your list: Not For Sale. They are another worthy organization for helping end slavery, not only in the US but around the world.
